Report product defects (sealed packs, within shelf life) or application issues (with invoice/photos) to support@ekotint.com within 7 days of discovery. We’ll guide inspection, replacement, or refund as applicable.

Products – General Questions

Matt (Water Matt/Hydra-Matt), Soft Sheen (Semi Plastic Emulsion), High Gloss (Gloss Enamel), plus primers, putty, and exterior Weather Paint.

Each product page includes downloadable TDS/SDS with coverage, dry time, VOC, application, and safety info. Request by email if needed.

Typical brush/roller coverage:

  • Wall Putty: varies by surface porosity

  • Primer Emulsion: 12–14 m²/L per coat

  • Water Matt / Semi Plastic Emulsion: 12–16 m²/L per coat

  • Weather Paint: 10–12 m²/L per coat
    Actual results depend on surface, shade, and application method.

Yes for best results. Wall Putty levels imperfections; Primer Emulsion improves adhesion, opacity, and color uniformity—especially on new/patchy surfaces.

Semi Plastic Emulsion and many premium interiors offer good washability for day-to-day stains. Use a soft damp cloth; avoid harsh abrasives.

Use Weather Paint or Clima Shield for exteriors (UV, rain, algae resistance). Use Water Matt/Semi Plastic for interiors.

Yes. Our water-based emulsions are low-odor, low-VOC and compliant with regional standards. SDS lists VOC values.

Yes. EKOTINT paints are lead-free and meet applicable safety regulations. Follow SDS for handling and ventilation.

Touch dry 30–45 min; recoat 2–3 hrs under normal conditions (25–30°C, 50–60% RH). Cooler/humid weather extends times.

Use clean water for water-based paints as per TDS (usually 10–20% for the first coat). Apply with roller/brush/spray per surface.

Critical. Ensure the surface is dry, clean, sound, dust-/grease-free. Repair cracks, sand smoothly, apply putty/primer before topcoats.

Minor variation can occur by batch, application, and lighting. Buy enough in one batch, mix all cans together (boxing), and test a patch.

Yes—request physical shade cards or order sample pots to test on your wall before final purchase.

We offer computerized tinting & custom match against fabric, tile, or code references (tolerance applies). Provide a clean sample.

Yes. Weather Paint/Clima Shield include anti-fungal/algal additives for exterior durability.

Use Gloss Enamel over a suitable anti-corrosive/wood primer. Sand between coats for best finish.

Unopened cans: typically 24 months from MFD (see label). Store upright in a cool, dry place away from sunlight/frost.

Do not pour into drains. Let leftovers dry and dispose of as solid waste per local guidelines. Recycle metal/plastic where allowed.
